Responses to my blogs have generally been very encouraging and helpful!

A lot of the readers of my blogs prefer not to comment publicly, so they send me email notes instead, asking that they not be published. It’s easy to do this because I make my blog email address public (keeping it separated from my regular email address). I've actually made some lasting friendships with other bloggers this way.
Recently (yesterday morning), the following response came in. I guess, sometimes, you cast your line into the sea and all you come up with is an old rotten boot.
