A beautifully written and important blog for you to read!
by Charlie Leck
David Williamson writes a blog, Van Peebles Land, that I read very regularly. It’s always very good; however, the blog of 30 July 2009, Friendship, politics and time travel, was particularly wonderful, insightful and deliciously written.
David Williamson is a journalist, but he also has a good touch of the theologian in him as well. Often, David is just chatty and seems directing his blogs to friends and family; yet, there are times when his voice is very universal and needs to be heard around the globe. Friendship, politics and time travel, is one of those very special blogs.
Read it again. Sip slowly on a paragraph like the one following and allow yourself to enjoy and savor it. You will think of this 'sip' in days far ahead of you and you will wish that you could go back to taste again something so wonderful and refreshing.

"In fact, art, even when it acknowledges our darkest failings, allows us to see hope on a horizon for the act of creation is the summoning of something out of nothing. "If you like important messages that are also beautifully and wisely written, I recommend you go take a look at this blog by Williamson.

David’s blog, The Eton Rifles v. the Texan Cowboys, was also a very good and insightful blog.“In fact, art, even when it acknowledges our darkest failings, allows us to see hope on a horizon for the act of creation is the summoning of something out of nothing.”
