Extra!
Extra! Read all about it! Jesus was married! His wife, Mary, okayed to be a
disciple!

The news is out
there folks. A shred of an ancient document has been uncovered. Many scholars
weigh in that it is authentic. In it, Jesus refers to his wife and notes that
“she will be able to be my disciple.”
The owner of the
tiny piece of the original document (no bigger than a business card) is willing
to submit it to other scholars and experts for authentication.
At this moment,
there are scholars in the Vatican who are dizzy, sweating profusely and swirling
around in panic.

That is old stuff - read the article more carefully. Many people are reading things in that simply are not there. More important news is what France has done with a cartoon - now that is courage.
ReplyDeleteEasy, Lynn, have a little more humor in your day(s). I did read it carefully, my friend. My opinion is that it doesn't matter a dribble whether or not Jesus was married or even if he was gay. I don't care! He pointed us to some essential truths; that is, love is the way to God.
ReplyDeleteThat is true - but why waste time on it when there is so much more going on. My opinion of the French is improving quickly.
